Whatever happened to skiTunes/Waves? I miss it so….

Wasn’t skiTunes the alternative to iTunes? I remember trying it out a while back.

I’m all for alternatives to Apple apps (everybody loves a change now and then), but how is one supposed to even try and compete with this music Empire apple has built?

Is there a specific place to report a bug, or should we just comment here? :)

I’ve just noticed that the “Go Home” menu item, and command key, don’t work. I’ve also noticed that when typing in the search box that if you delete everything you typed, it reverts to google homepage. Is this meant to happen?

And, if I may be so bold as to make a feature request…

Perhaps you’ve heard of the Scourge WebKit browser? It’s quite like surfDude, but with less utility. It has this awsome feature called “Live Google Search”, it searches google *as you type* returning the results immediatly for whatever is in the search box.

You need a forum for people like me, who are addicted to surfDude. :p

    Can’t wait for 05!

Out of curiosity, I clocked SurfDudes memory usage against Safari’s. SurfDude was using close to 100megs sitting idle on this page, while Safari used about 25megs doing the same.

This is a little disturbing :(

I found the SurfDude browsing very fast and functional and the same with the interfaces. But I ran into the same problem on every machine I tried it on from g3 iMacs with OS 10.3 to intel Core Duo iMacs, wher it would crash from time to time and have to be restarted. It possible could have been because of the memory usage mesioned in the previous comment. I’d like to here what you find out about this so please email me if you find out why this happens.
