Now offering web design, software interface design, and desktop commissions!

Not sure that anybody out there is still reading my blog, but if somebody is, this is for them.

I am now selling web designs! While I prefer to work on personal and small business sites, I can and will work on others. Cost depends on the project and is very negotiable, and if asked I will price match the competition (ample proof of the offer being matched is required, of course).

Software interface and icon design is now available, too. I specialize in designing Mac software but I will design UIs for software on any platform. Pricing is very flexible/negotiable.

I am also offering anime art/wallpaper commissions. While other resolutions are available, I specialize in high-resolution widescreen wallpapers (1680×1050 and above). Prices are extremely flexible - you only have to pay what you feel the art is worth. If this venture is somewhat successful, I may offer commissioned prints as well.

In all above cases, I will do my best to work with the customer to provide unique quality design. As a measure in attempt to build my portfolio, some projects may even be eligible for free or very low cost service! No project is too small. If you are interested in any of the above services, please contact me through AIM, MSN, or or email. Thank you!

Finished!

The site’s change to the new layout is finished after a day’s work of work and tweaking. The front page is still WordPress, but all other pages are static/coded. The only thing that remains undone is the Mac OS Through the Years page, which I have grander plans for.

I think I’ve covered everything, but if I missed something or somebody finds a bug, please inform me as soon as possible. Thanks!

A new site! Well, kinda…

As you can see, I’m working on a new look and feel for this blog and website. It’s obviously not finished yet, so please excuse the mess until the dust settles.

Its been a while…

It’s been a while since I last posted. Sorry about that, I’ve been quite busy between school, my job, and World of Warcraft (I’m Chroesire on the realm Bleeding Hollow if you want to meet me!), so I figured I’d post an update.

skiTunes is being worked on, as well as another project which you’ll be hearing about later. I’ve also been dabbling in Blender some.

One thing that has REALLY gotten on my nerves lately is the huge influx of n00bish people at digg that say things like, “MACs don’t get viruses because they have 1% marketshare”, “Apples are spell and speaks”, and just plain “Macs suck”. I plan to do an in-depth debunking of every one of these myths and provide hard evidence for every one of them. After that I’ll buy a crapload of bandwidth and post it on digg and make those Mac-hating n00bs squirm. Don’t get me wrong here; I’m not saying Macs are flawless - I’m saying the truth needs to be told and those n00bs need to bite the dust.

Windows Vista’s future is looking grim…

At least in my opinion. After 4 years (correct me if I’m wrong) of development, all Vista is so far is XP with a flashier, more crowded GUI with graphics effects and other features that Mac OS X has been capable of for years, and 7 freaking editions. Yes, that’s right, 7 editions, when one edition with features enabled/disabled by code would have done just fine. And if that’s not enough, it looks like MS is becoming the RIAA and MPAA’s pet and integrating DRM into the entire freaking OS. All of this, of course, is looking like it’ll require a computer so expensve most people would die from hearing its price. Aside from the Xbox, MS is being pretty darn disappointing.

Now Microsoft might surprise me by turning around in this next year and getting things together, but I highly doubt it. MS has never surprised or amazed me, and I don’t expect them to any time soon. And even if Windows Vista turns out to be half decent, I won’t buy it. It’s not worth the $5 it’d take to ship it here.
